Heather Hartman

Heather, a native of Beloit, Kansas, and graduate of St. John's Catholic High School, holds a Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University. With experience in retail business ownership and economic development in Mitchell County, Heather brings a passion for rural communities to her role as Director of Development at the Catholic Foundation. In her role, she oversees fundraising endeavors, nurtures donor connections, and formulates strategic initiatives to further the mission of the Diocese of Salina in supporting Catholic causes and organizations. Heather’s commitment to philanthropy and her insight into the needs of rural communities motivate her to acquire essential resources for the Diocese of Salina’s programs and ministries.


Having grown up participating in Youth Ministry and later serving as a sponsor for events like NCYC and Prayer and Action when her children were involved, Heather remains deeply connected to the Catholic community and values the impact of these experiences on her life. Heather and her husband, Scott, were married in 1996. They enjoy spending time with their three children, Alex, Isabella, and Jack, as well as their first grandson, Alem.
