He was ordained in 1963 at Sacred Heart Cathedral in Salina by Bishop Frecking.

1969 - Pastor of St. Phillip Parish in Hope and St. Columba Parish in Elmo and instructor at Sacred Heart High School in Salina

1971-1977 - Director of Vocations

1973 - Chaplain at Nazareth Motherhouse and Manna House of Prayer in Concordia

1984 - Pastor of St. Patrick Parish in Gypsum in addition to Marymount duties

1988 - Pastor of St. Patrick Parish in Lincoln and St. Mary Parish in Glasco

1989 - Pastor of St. Thomas Parish in Stockton and St. Francis Parish in Claudell

1993 - Pastor of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Salina

1997 - Pastor of St. John the Baptist Parish in Clyde, St. Mary Parish in Clifton and St. Peter Parish in Aurora

2007 - Retired from parish ministry, but continues spiritual direction
