Where is the event?

This event is hosted by the Comeau Catholic Campus Center. Registration and the opening session will take place at the Beach Schmidt Performing Arts Center, Fort Hays State University, 600 Park St Hays, KS 67601.

What is the schedule?

Does it cost to attend?

The cost is $30/adult, $20/child with parent, $20/child at daycare facility. There is a family package of $100 for families from the same house. The event is free for clergy.

Is there a group rate?

There is a family package to ensure no family living under the same roof pays more than $100. Other group rates are not available.

Do I need to check in?

Check in is Friday from 5:00-7:00pm in Beach Schmidt Auditorium. If you are only attending on Saturday, you may check in from 7:45-8:45am in Beach Schmidt Auditorium.

Where should I park for the conference?

We have access to all the parking lots and spaces on the campus of FHSU

Where will I eat?

All food will be on your own. Our schedule will break for lunch from 11:00am-1:00pm on Saturday. Please visit this link to see coupons for restaurants in Hays.

You are also welcome to bring your own food and drinks onto the campus, but not into the keynote/breakout room due to FHSU policy.

Where will I stay?

We have a group block reserved at the Hampton Inn in Hays, KS. Please search for the needed dates (08/09/2024-08/11/2024) and select the ‘Special Rates’ field. Enter “SEC” to see available rooms.

You may also reserve a room over the phone by calling 785-621-4444 and asking for the Salina Eucharistic Conference Room Block.

Will the event be live streamed?

Unfortunately, no. This is an in-person event.

Who are the speakers?

View our speakers above to learn more about the trusted voices you will hear at the Conference. And look for additional speaker information throughout the coming months and leading up to the conference.

Do I get to choose my breakout sessions?

You will be receiving an online form to register for your desired sessions. This will include the speaker, title of the session, and a short description.

Do I have to attend the whole conference?

Attending all sessions and activities is the best way to experience this event. However, it is not required.

Can children attend?

Children may attend with their parent or attend the daycare. There will not be programming for children at the conference.

What should I wear?

Casual attire is acceptable, but please avoid clothing that will distract or detract from the purpose of the gathering—to honor Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.

What is open to the public?

The Closing Mass is free to attend by individuals not registered for the conference.

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for this event.

When is payment due?

Full payment is due at the time of registration.

Childcare FAQs

What time is childcare offered?

Childcare will be offered on Saturday from 7:30am – 4:00pm. There will be no childcare on Friday.

What ages is the childcare option open to?

Ages 2-11 are welcome at childcare. 
These kids may also attend the conference with a parent, however, there will be no programming for children at the conference.

Where is childcare located?

Childcare will be located at Holy Family Elementary in Hays, KS.

What will my kids be doing?

Based on your child’s age, we have a variety of educational activities, crafts, and outdoor play on the schedule.

What will my child eat?

Lunch and snacks will be provided. 

Will there be a naptime?

Yes, nap time is part of the schedule for young children.

Who will be supervising?

Teachers from Holy Family Elementary and Totus Tuus.

What do I need to send with my child?

If applicable, please bring diapers/pull ups and wipes for your child. Additionally, please bring a reusable water bottle with their name on it.

Do I need to fill out any forms?

Yes, as we get closer to the conference, you will receive an email with the forms you must fill out for your child to attend daycare.
