Wendy grew up in Oregon, Wisconsin. She attended University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education Degree. After college, Wendy taught at two Catholic Schools in Wisconsin. In 1997, Wendy and her husband Dave moved to Kansas where she worked in a wide range of fields. Wendy and her husband Dave have 2 children and are members of St. Mary Queen of the Universe Parish. Wendy maintains compliance records for the clergy, employees, educators, volunteers and Chancery Staff in the Diocese of Salina. This also includes making on site visits to parishes and schools, to train and teach parents, teachers, and community members on ways to maintain safe environments and to protect the life and dignity of our children and young people.
