Michelle grew up in Oakley. She was a former student from St. Joseph School. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1997 and is currently attending FHSU to get her Masters in Administration. Michelle taught at St. Joseph School for 18 years before stepping up as the principal in 2019. Michelle and her husband, Matt have 5 daughters that have all attended St. Joseph School. She is an active member of St. Joseph Church in Oakley. Outside of school, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and supporting her kids in their activities.
