Marcy Kee grew up in Damar, Kansas and graduated from Palco High School. Following high school, she attended Fort Hays State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education/Health with an endorsement in Science. Marcy began her teaching career in Plainville, Kansas teaching middle school science for seven years prior to moving to Beloit in 2001. She taught for three years in the Waconda School District before becoming a St. John's Blujay. In 2007, she earned her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Fort Hays State University. She began her administrative duties at St. John's in 2011. She and her husband, Allen, have four children and two grandchildren.
