Mr. John Hamilton is Vice Principal and also teaches American History at Sacred Heart High School. He is also Director of Community/House and is the Chromebook Administrator. Mr. Hamilton received his MS degree from Fort Hays State University in 2015, and graduated from Northwest Missouri State University with a BS degree in Geography. He received his teaching endorsement from Avila University in Kansas City, MO. He previously taught at Mcpherson High School and student taught at Shawnee Mission West High School. John and his wife Lindsay (Hadorn--2001 graduate from SHHS) have three daughters--Mia, Reese, and Evelyn. John's mission at Sacred Heart remains to serve the parents, students, teachers, and staff, and to go where God leads him. John's hobbies include spending time with his family, coaching his daughters, reading, historical research, writing, and music.
