Ernie Armstrong

Ernie joined the Chancery staff on May 3, 2021 as the new chief financial officer. He grew up in San Diego, California and earned an accounting degree from San Diego State University. After moving to Colorado, he became a Certified Public Accountant and earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration. Ernie served the Archdiocese of Denver for many years, first as a parish business manager and then in the Chancery as the Director of Parish Finance and Parish Controller. His goal is to help the Diocese of Salina be good stewards of the gifts provided by the faithful. He believes we need to be transparent and efficient with the financial resources and use the funds to build the Kingdom and further the mission of the Church.
