Traveling Eucharistic miracles exhibit available to loan

HAYS – Divine Mercy Radio, a network of radio stations in central and western Kansas, have purchased a set of Eucharistic miracles available for loan to Catholic churches, schools or organizations free.

“Since bishops in the United States have dedicated the next few years to promoting the true presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, we thought this might be a great community outreach and an extension of this Catholic radio’s evangelization mission,” said Donetta Robben, Executive Director of DMR.

The exhibit consists of 39, 2’ x 5’ detailed vinyl panels highlighting some of the most powerful Eucharistic miracles of the world. Each panel tells the story of a specific Eucharistic miracle and is accompanied by photos and artwork. The exhibit sits on eighteen six-foot tables.

“This is a beautiful exhibit for all ages,” Robben said. “It might be especially beneficial to those young people preparing for their First Communion or the sacrament of Confirmation. Their parents will also appreciate the exhibit.”

Most of these Eucharistic miracles were put together by Blessed Carlo Acutis, a young Italian teenager who was skilled in art and computers. Acutis completed this work in 2005 and died a year later of leukemia at the young age of 15. He was beautified “Blessed” by Pope Francis Oct. 10, 2020, after being credited with curing a Brazilian boy from a rare pancreatic defect that made eating difficult.

The exhibit consists of miracles from centuries ago to some from recent years. Remarkably, the blood type consistently is AB, which is the blood type from the Shroud of Turin.

What is amazing to Robben is that in recent Eucharistic miracles, and with modern technology to determine DNA, geneticists have been unable to trace the blood from these Eucharistic miracles. Jesus is God. He has a human mother, but his father is not of this world, and thus, His DNA is untraceable.

To schedule the exhibit, go to DMR’s website at www.dvmercy.com and click on Eucharist Miracles Exhibit. This will take you to a page about the exhibit and Blessed Acutis. There is also a tab to book the exhibit. Complete this form and someone from DMR will get back to you within a day or two. There is no charge for displaying this exhibit. However, the exhibit will need to be picked up and returned to DMR’s main studio in Hays.
