National Vocation Awareness Week | Nov 7-13

Priestly Vocations
Nov 10, 2021

National Vocation Awareness Week, celebrated November 7-13, 2021, is an annual week-long celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States dedicated to promoting vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and consecrated life through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are considering one of these particular vocations.

Please join us in praying for an increase of vocations to the priesthood and religious life in the Diocese of Salina

O Lord, My God, please raise up an army of priests from the sons of the Diocese of Salina. Priests that will carry Your merciful words of absolution upon their lips. Priests that will anoint our loved ones with Your Holy Oil in sickness and at the hour of their death. Priests who will fearlessly proclaim the Gospel in season and out. Priests who will offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for our salvation.

Dearest Mother Mary, fill the hearts of mothers and fathers of our diocese with joy as their sons discern a call into the Holy Orders of Christ’s Eternal Priesthood. We ask this with humble hearts through the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen
