Ordained April 7, 1962, he was ordained at St. John the Baptist Church in Hanover by Bishop Frederick Freking.

1967 - Administrator at Sacred Heart Parish in Esbon and St. Mary Parish in Smith Center

1973 - Pastor of St. Mary Parish in Clifton and St. Michael Parish in Kimeo

1975-1982 – Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Hays

1983-1993 - Co-pastor of Seven Dolors Parish in Manhattan; Helped found the Seven Dolors preschool, opened the Seven Dolors Food Pantry and helped coordinate food pantries with other churches

1994-2013 - Diocesan Finance Officer for Salina Diocese

2004 - Rector of Sacred Heart Cathedral in Salina

2006 - Retired to Salina from parish ministry and continued as Finance Officer for Salina Diocese

2013 - Retired from Finance Office
