Daylene, who was raised in Hoxie, Kansas worked in a non-profit ministry for two years right after High School. She attended Sterling College for a year before she got married to Jim Tracy. To this union, they had two children, Carissa and Terry. Daylene went through the RCIA program at St. Mary Queen of the Universe in Salina after being married for five years. She got an Associates Degree in Administration and Accounting from Brown Mackie College. She then worked for McCoy Christian Supply in Salina as a bookkeeper, and later for a local bank in Salina. In 1997, she started working for Immaculate Conception Parish as an associate and was appointed by Bishop Fitzsimmons as the Parish Life Coordinator in 2001. She also has attended many Summer Institute sessions throughout the years. Some of her hobbies are spending time with her two granddaughters, Olivia and Ava, camping and quilting.
