The Diocesan Lay Review Board meets on a quarterly basis. During these meetings, the board discusses improvements that could be made to the diocesan safe environment program, as it relates to its policies and procedures. The review board acts as a consultative body that advises the
bishop/eparch in his assessment of allegations by priests and
deacons and their suitability for ministry, including addressing other sensitive issues on an as needed basis.
