This year the family life and respect life offices are hosting the Memorial Mass for parents who have lost a child. They will be May 10th at St. Joseph in Oakley and May 11th at St. Edward in Belleville, starting at 2:00pm. The two Masses are for parents
who have lost children. In years past, only one Mass took place and was geared more towards mothers. But as the event grew, it become more evident that more than one Mass was needed. It also became clearer the Mass needed to be for mothers and fathers.
