Jodi Testa

A Kansas girl at heart, Jodi Testa was born and raised in LeRoy, Kansas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Newman University and began her teaching career at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School in Wichita, Kansas. After relocating with her family to Junction City, she continued her passion for education by teaching first and later third grade in USD 475. Driven by a commitment to educational leadership and lifelong learning, Jodi pursued a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership. She subsequently served as both an assistant principal and principal in USD 475 and USD 434, dedicating twenty-four years to public education as a teacher and administrator. Following her retirement from public education, Jodi felt called back to her Catholic school roots. She returned to the classroom as a second-grade teacher at St. Francis Xavier School, where she joyfully served students for one year before accepting her current role as principal. Jodi and her husband, Randy Testa, a local contractor, are active members of St. Francis Xavier Parish. Together, they have two children who both teach and coach in USD 475. Their greatest joy is their growing family: four grandsons and three granddaughters, all of whom live in the local area. As principal of St. Francis Xavier School, Jodi is committed to fostering academic excellence, nurturing faith, and building a strong sense of community. She believes that education is most meaningful when it develops both the mind and the spirit, preparing students to lead lives of purpose, service, and lifelong learning.
