Brenda was born and raised in Tipton, Kansas, where she was a member of St. Boniface Parish. She attended Tipton High School. After graduation she moved to the Chicago area and started her family while also working for United Parcel Service in their district, then regional offices. She later moved back to Kansas to be near her family and is now a parishioner of St. Mary Queen of the Universe Parish in Salina. She has over 25 years of working in an office environment, including payroll, billing, insurance and accounting, and is skilled in communication, organization and multi-tasking. In December 2020 she took on the position of Missions Coordinator for the diocese in the Propagation of the Faith office. She looks forward to assisting and sharing her faith with all she meets.
