Scott was born and raised in Logan, KS. He earned his BS in Physical Education with a minor in Secondary Teacher Education from Fort Hays State University and his MS in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialty in digital teaching and learning from Kansas State University. He began his teaching and coaching career in Manhattan, KS teaching computer based classes and physical education at an alternative high school, while coaching football. He previously taught elementary physical education and coached football at Turner in Kansas City, KS. He currently servers as the principal at Sacred Heart Grade School, as well as the technology director at Thomas More Prep-Marian. He is also the driver education coordinator and has held many coaching positions at both the HS and JH levels. Scott and his wife Jen have 3 children, Hayden and Jillian (Holy Family Elementary) and Amelia. When he isn’t at school or a school event, he enjoys sporting events, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
