Katie grew up in Beloit, Kansas where she attended St. John’s Catholic Schools. After high school, she attended Benedictine College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Theology. Immediately after college, Katie began working for the Diocese of Salina as the executive assistant to the bishop. After two years in that role, Katie took on new responsibilities as the creative editor. She oversees the production of the diocesan newspaper and magazine. She also coordinates communication pieces for the Catholic Foundation.
